Building on recently released capabilities to translate email notifications and form fields, we’re happy to introduce that AgilePoint can now localize picklist display names into the languages of your choice. Just one more thing that we at AgilePoint are only too happy to take off your plate!
How Does this Work?
It’s straightforward, really. Once you’ve enabled multiple languages in your AgilePoint environment, and turned on multi-lingual forms, simply navigate to picklists within the Data Entity module, and select the picklist you’d like to translate.
You’ll see a new icon that looks like a sheet of paper, where you’ll be prompted to select the languages you’d like to add. From there, its as easy as selecting the picklist items that need translation, press ‘Translate with AI,’ and voila, instantly localized!
That’s It?
Yup, that’s it. Now I did mention there are a few steps you might need to take care of first in terms of adding languages to your tenant and enabling multi-lingual forms, but don’t worry, we’ve covered that in detail during the video.
So, with that, all the remains is watching the video linked below, and to try this for yourself in your own tenant!
Please note that this video is recorded while this feature is in limited-preview beta version. Some of the labels and icons might change by the time it goes GA but the general concept of translating picklist items would remain the same.
