Last year I worked on a interesting concept during my spare time to create a WordPress plugin to make AgilePoint components available in WordPress.
WordPress is one of the most famous web portal in the world and having full featured enterprise forms available in WordPress sounded an interesting concept as you could send/receive data from systems like SAP, Salesforce, Office 365, database etc on a WordPress form with simple drag and drop configuration.
The base concept behind the plugin is the AgilePoint NX UI extension framework which is available in all the end user components like Work Center, Manage Center and most importantly eForms to be rendered natively within 3rd party portals and honoring the authentication scheme used by these portals but the most important aspect is that it can be done without having to package the whole source code individually in these portals which could have caused a maintenance nightmare for developers. So all we share is a bunch of 4-5 HTML pages and 2-3 JavaScript files and keep the whole deployment clean and rest of the files are auto downloaded from a CDN location. Your OnPremises portal too can act as a CDN source. This is one of the key advantages of a pure HTML5 + JQuery + CSS3 architecture.
Leveraging all this I created a WordPress plugin which at this time can be made available as part of services. We have done similar thing for Office 365 and Salesforce and is available in form of apps in the respective app stores but as a custom delivery we have done same for custom ASP.Net, JSP, NetSuite, WordPress etc. but is not limited to these portals and can be done for any web based portal where I can insert my custom HTML.
Here is a short video on how this works.
For more information on who native embedding of these components can be done in WordPress or other 3rd party portals, please discuss with your customer success manager.
Hi I love the concept and want to know exactly what we need to natively insert agilepoint e-forms into suitecrm. we looked at salesforce but it cost to much for one of our clients.
if you could advise a implemenation document, we can take it from there. the video was good but a fure document or at least agilepoint-nx.zip etc
Neville,
This feature is available only as part of Professional Services. You can reach out to AgilePoint PS team to get an estimate. We have done this for many more portals written in ASP.Net, JSP, PLM Softwares, Salesforce, NetSuite etc. as part of PS so team will be able to help you quickly estimate and implement it.
It is not a lot of work and is one time effort for any portal so please discuss with your account rep and get the service scheduled.
