The App Builder module sits at the center of any low code platform, but with AgilePoint, it’s what helps you transform your business by creating hundreds (if not thousands!) of automations that delight your customers and employees alike. Because of this prominent role, its crucial that we continue to adapt and evolve what is essentially the central nervous system of the AgilePoint platform.
As we’ve shared in previous blog posts, AgilePoint NX v 8.0 laid a strong foundation for continued innovation, Citizen Developer empowerment and usability enhancements – a tradition we are keen to continue in v9.
Here’s what you can expect to see from the totally redesigned App Builder homepage in our next major release:
- Performance – picking up where v8 left off, the App Builder homepage has been totally reworked using React.JS and GraphQL so the page remains snappy and responsive, even as thousands of applications are created.
- Last Edited App – when opening the module, the user is prompted to jump right into their last edited application, saving clicks and ultimately time to continue innovating.
- Quick Actions Menu – From the homepage, head right into the most common actions like ‘Add App’,’ Data Entity’, ‘Import App’, and ‘Learn More’ to quickly access documentation and other learning resources
- Filter Tiles – instantly sort and filter your experience to easily view recent application files you’ve worked on, recent apps, draft vs. published apps, process vs. form-based apps, and any applications that you own.
So, what’s the common thread here?
As the centerpiece of our platform in addition to the performance enhancements listed above, this re-write aims to keep the App Builder experience modern, clean and inviting through improved navigation with fewer clicks required to take your next action.
There’s a whole lot more, but to see it all, you’ll need to watch the short video below.
